Homework
Many parents value the commitment by the school to provide homework each week. We have an extensive and structured approach to homework and have established a school homework timetable.
Early Years - activites will be set for each half term.
Years 1 & 2
- Friday for Tuesday - One specific task related to class curriculum work
- Regular Reading (two scheme books and one library book)
Years 3 & 4
- Monday for Friday - A literacy task based on class work
- Friday for Tuesday - A maths task based on work covered in class
- Regular reading
Years 5 & 6
- Monday for Friday - A choice of literacy task
- Friday for Tuesday - Choose a maths challenge
- SAM learning
- Regular reading
